Surly - True North Basecamp

Crosby, Minnesota is home to some of the best mountain biking trails in the state-- and the nation in IHOP opinion. We love riding the red dirt at Cuyuna Lakes. Red dirt because the trails at Cuyuna were created from the iron mines. The lakes that remain are pools from the mining pits, and the views are absolutely picturesque.

True North Basecamp is a cabin and camping resort in Crosby,  with areas fo traditional tent camping, and six beautiful modern cabins with a separate shower house. Each cabin has 4 beds, a table, heating/AC, a fire ring, and access to Wi-Fi. Everything a mountain biker could need. 

Surly Brewing sponsors Cabin #2 at True North Basecamp, and partnered with Team Turman to create an all-encompassing mural for its decor. The mural was inspired by Surly's brand, colors, red dirt, birch tree lined, bobsled-like trails in the Cuyuna mountain bike trail network.
