Pin Cushion - Inktober 2026 - 14x11

Day 4 - Cactus - Inktober 2026

What is Inktober? Read about it here.

This was one of those prompts that I struggled with a little bit because it was so literal. I first thought about things that are spiky but also cute. So I came up with a hedgehog, and then I thought of the little tomato pin cushion with the little strawberry attached to it. Serendipitously, it turns out that Minnesota actually has three native cacti and one of them is called the "Pincushion cactus." Whoda thunk that there's native cacti in Minnesota - the more ya know!
