Day 27 - Onion - Inktober 2025
This painting concept was originally for the first prompt of Inktober 2025, Mustache. I thought a walrus dressed as a lumberjack looking up at the Aurora Borealis was a fun concept. However, a few days after I'd painted this, the song Glass Onion by the Beatles came on the radio in the studio. One of the lyrics in the song is "The Walrus is Paul." I decided that this painting would be for the prompt, Onion. It's a stretch to connect Onion with Glass Onion with the imagery being a walrus dressed as Paul Bunyan, but here it is. Just go with it.
