Inktober 2023 Day 14 - Castle

Do you know of the White Castle that sits on Lyndale and West 33rd in Minneapolis? It's White Castle No. 8 and it's on the official historical register.

I've always thought it is such a cool building and if it was ever for sale or rent, I'd want to try to figure out a way to run my art studio out of it. Super cool! Anyway, during my research of this historic place I found out that Castle No. 8 has moved three times, first from 616 Washington Avenue Southeast, next 329 Central Avenue Southeast, and finally to 3252 Lyndale Avenue South in 1984. 

The Castle is modular and can be taken apart, moved, and reassembled, making it a temporary structure. The restaurant brand made many of these buildings, but No. 8 in Minneapolis is truly a magical place!
