Fat bikes came on to the cycling scene around 2004 or so (as far as I know). Surly Bikes released the Pugsley, a over-sized mountain bike that used regular mountain bike parts, but huge tires, that only fit into the frame of the bike because it was designed to accommodate such crazy wheels, for the time. Now fat bikes are seen all over and have advanced the technology so far that you can take your fatty just about anywhere.
This print was inspired by the first fat bikes, and the fun it is to ride them in any condition, anywhere you want to. Freedom! I pictured myself riding mine through a birch forest and exploring new trails and other surprises along the way. Just ask the cardinal. Ride on!
ORIGINAL SCREEN PRINTS
Our screen prints are all printed by Adam in-house at our studio. Screen printing is a process where ink is forced through a mesh screen onto archival paper. Making certain areas of the screen impervious to printing ink thus creating a stencil, which blocks the printing ink from passing through the screen. The ink that passes through forms the printed image. Each screen print is made up of multiple layers/screens of ink that may print on top of one another to form multiple colors (i.e. printing yellow over blue will create a green color).
Each screen print is slightly unique because of the hand-quality of screen printing process. All screen prints are hand-signed and dated by Adam.

Metal prints are one of our my popular prints. They reflect light and add a brilliance and vibrance to images that many other substrates cannot. Using an innovative dye sublimation process, the image is printed directly onto high quality aluminum for a clean and lasting finish.
White Base Metal Prints take bright, vivid colors to the next level. Bare Metal Prints allow the metal material to show through the image creating more of a metallic finish; these prints tend to appear 10-15% darker in diffused light but reflect colors vividly in direct spot lights.
Metal prints include a black metal frame that is set in from the print’s edge with a 1-5/16" depth and finished with a sawtooth or wire hanger.
Acrylic prints are crystal clear and have super sharp image quality. Each image printed as a glossy fine art inkjet print and then face mounted to 1/4" crystal clear acrylic. The backing of the print is a rigid black composite.
The print is backed by a black metal frame (1-5/16") inset from the print's edge and finished with a sawtooth or wire hanger.
Prints on wood have more of a rustic natural look. The image is printed over the top of real wood and you can see the wood grain through the print, especially in spaces where the image would be white or is not printed revealing the wood material. Each image printed on a 1/2" Maple wood panel and protected with a laminate finish.
Printed on a natural surface, no two boards will look exactly alike... 'cause it's real wood! Arrives ready to hang with pre-cut keyholes.
Canvas prints are images printed directly onto the canvas surface using Epson archival large-format inkjet printers, also called “Giclée” printing. Along with durable finishes and lamination, it is protected from scuffs, scratches, cracking, and UV light.
Canvas prints are wrapped around 1-1/2" stretcher bars, they have a backing paper and finished with a sawtooth or wire hanger.
FINE ART PAPER PRINTS
Each image is inkjet printed on smooth matte acid-free, pH-neutral paper with archival pigment inks that significantly enhance the visual brilliance of Adam’s style. These inks have a substantial longevity that will keep your image beautiful for generations.
