After a fall of foraging to bulk up for a long winter, this brown bear is down until robins start chirping and sap starts flowing with the warmth of spring.

This print was originally a small painting I did for Inktober, an art challenge during the month of October, where artists choose to paint subject matter based on prompts throughout the entire 31 days. The prompt was "Bulky" and a cozy bear in hibernation is the first thing that came to mind to paint. It was a hit, and I chose to make a print of it so many more could enjoy. Now it's a part of my Woodland Series of screen prints. Ok, now back to bed.

METAL: Using an innovative dye sublimation process, the image is printed directly onto high quality aluminum for a clean and lasting finish. Includes a black metal frame that is set in from the print’s edge with a 1-5/16" depth and finished with a sawtooth or wire hanger.

CANVAS PRINT: The image is printed directly onto the canvas surface using Epson archival large-format inkjet printers, also called “Giclée” printing. Along with durable finishes and lamination, it is protected from scuffs, scratches, cracking, and UV light.
