Day 1 - Apple - Inktober 2026
What is Inktober? Read about it here.
The University of Minnesota's new apple is called "First Kiss." That reminded me of the salt and pepper shakers of the little dutch kids leaning in for a kiss, and I thought it would be cute to have the little boy holding an apple behind his back as a little surprise. A "First Kiss" apple for a first kiss!
Acrylic painting on cradled wood panel.
