Some might relate Fall as synonymous to the Arboretum and its fields of 450 varieties of pumpkins and gourds. In my family, Fall traditions revolve around an extremely famous comic strip in a TV Halloween Special (and Halloween itself).

A mashup of these two, in my mind, includes a field of pumpkins, much like the one featured in the famous TV Halloween Special. If you look closely you’ll find some hidden clues amongst the pumpkins that drives the title, “Still Waiting…” home.

Look closely to see a young boy’s blanket, two ghosts and an outline of a specific dog.
